All the Old Haunts

1:24pm June 2, 2013

Okay, okay, nothing new to see here. But sometimes you need to revisit places you've been half a hundred times before under different conditions.

Last weekend after a 4:30am bathroom visit, my camera bag started talking to me, and it said, "Hey Chris, notice the first light of the day creeping over the horizon...?"

A protracted battle between my camera bag and still-warm-and-inviting bed ensued until I found myself walking out the door 15 minutes later to catch the dawn at Gas Works:

On Friday I revisited Jose Rizal park on a social call with some local photogs. One day I will catch a truly impressive sunset here, but for now, the standard image:

Aaand, for good measure, I've even been down to the Post Alley gum wall recently:

The odds that the reduction may happen. The larger the odds an event may happen that'll build a reduction your insurance QuotesChimp may need to pay for, the larger the threat to the business and, hence, the more complex the premium. (Higher peril equals greater rates.) For instance, in case you have three drunk driving prosecutions within the last four weeks, your car insurance company may consider, with reason, your possibility of engaging in a collision and incurring a reduction is rather high. As a consequence in their heightened threat of deficiency, you are going to incur greater rates. Alternatively, in the event your driving report is clean, your rates ought to decrease together with the underwriter's reduced jeopardy.

This review is from: The book was wrtetin by Kristopher B. Jones, CEO of PepperJam. Kris is well known in the industry and considered an authority not only in the search marketing community, but among Internet marketers is general, including affiliate marketers and people in display advertising. I think the title of the book was not well chosen, because it is not only about organic search engine optimization, but about marketing your business and website in general. The book covers paid search advertising, affiliate marketing, public relations, web analytics and more, basically everything that is important for a successful online presents. That Kris has experience across the multiple channels of Internet marketing, from his business as fully integrated Internet marketing agency shines through in his book. Unique about the book is also how it is designed. It is geared towards the visual folks like myself and uses a tremendous amount of pictures to show things instead of just using words to explain. Virtually every page has a screenshot or illustration and is an integrated part of the book, beyond the simple use as decoration or reinforcement of the wrtetin text.

I don't think I have been back to Philly since 1995. Once I was done with my degree, I had litlte reason to visit there anymore. Of course, I do have friends there, but when I am in the U.S., I always focus on seeing my family first and foremost.
